 The Sudanese Professionals Association (SPA) has condemned the participation of members of the Sovereign Council in the launch of a Rapid Support Forces health campaign in some parts of Sudan.

 The RSF, in cooperation with Sudan’s Health Ministry dispatched four convoys to Sennar, the Blue Nile state, Kassala and the Red Sea states, to combat diseases such as cholera, dengue, and chikungunya.

 However, the SPA asserted that the campaign reflects a “direct interaction between the RSF with the health situation in the concerned states, in the absence of health departments at federal or state level.”

 The SPA further demanded that the Sovereign Council appreciate the importance of the principle of the separation of powers, “not the blessing of abuses and policy of filling the vacuum.”
