12/11/2021: Radio Dabanga – Declaration of El Burhan triggers street protests in Sudan capital

Radio Dabanga report that people in various neighbourhoods in Khartoum took to the streets to protest against army commander-in-chief Abdulfattah al-Burhan’s

reinstated Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC).

Protesters chanted: “What’s wrong with Burhan, is he sick? What are the symptoms? Exemptions and statements, And his treatment? Kober Prison”

The Forces for Freedom and Change (FFC) strongly condemned the move, saying it: “clearly confirms [the coup regime’s] indifference to the pulse of the street, and its continuation of unilateral measures in the same way as the former regime [of ousted President Omar Al Bashir]”.
