02/06/2024: Radio Dabanga – Tagadom conference prompts mixed responses in Sudan
Radio Dabanga report that the outcomes of the Taqadum conference have not been embraced by all sectors of the political spectrum.
The Communist Party of Sudan apologised for attending the conference due to “the wide discrepancy between the party’s vision and [Taqadum],” citing disagreement over the revolution, with the Forces of Freedom and Change (FFC-CC) political parties said to have diverged from the aims of the revolution during the transitional period leading to results that “returned the country to the general crisis that manifested itself in political instability and dependence on foreign aid”.
Meanwhile, the Darfur Bar Association said it did not receive an invitation to attend and participate in the Tagadom conference.
