12/8/19: Radio Dabanga - Sudan rebel leaders to discuss agreements with FFC in Cairo

 Radio Dabanga reports that leaders of the Sudan Revolutionary Front (SRF, a coalition of armed movements) arrived in Cairo to discuss the contents of the Constitutional Declaration with the Forces for Freedom and Change opposition alliance (FFC) before the final signing takes place on August 17.

 As well as rejecting the political charter of the power-sharing transitional deal, the SRF rejected the constitutional declaration because it ignored with the Addis Ababa Agreement – a deal agreed between the SRF and the FFC to prioritise peace in Sudan during the transitional period.
